You like torn carpet and dirty casinos…

Now imagine those two statements as said by a classic
1950s hypnotist who’s doing his best to convince you it’s true.

Riverwalk Casino Hotel was the first new development coming
into Vicksburg in over a decade.
The competition was tired,
smoky, multi-level and just plain run-down.

We seized this opportunity to create a launch campaign unlike
any we’d seen before. Our budget was small and our timelines
a moving target.

VICKSBURG IS FUN ENOUGH.COM was purchased and a campaign encompassing outdoor, print, radio and TV were
launched that directed customers to the Web site. Once there,
they received more hard hitting hypnotic messages as to why “Vicksburg is fun enough.” The site then collected their e-mail
addresses for a special message.

In one amazingly inexpensive campaign, we successfully repositioned Riverwalk as new, better and different. At the
same time, we positioned all of the competition as the
old and tired.

The reveal of the campaign came in two stages. The first
phase was all of our hypnotic messages
were sniped with the
tag line, “Not The Same Old Game” and Riverwalk’s logo. The
second phase,
the actual campaign that followed, was the
hypnotist, but with customer’s breaking out of their trances
and a tearing away of the old,
which is why Riverwalk’s
creative features a paper tear.

Now, as we move forward, Riverwalk’s look is changing
again… Stay tuned.
